OVERVIEW
Bai Tu Long Bay is in the northeast of Vietnam. It covers a sea area of Halong City, Cam Pha Town and Van Don island district. It is adjacent to Halong bay in the southwest, to Campha district in the west, to Coto district in the northeast, toward the Eastsea. Bai Tu Long Bay includes hundreds of islands, many of them are large and inhabited.
Climate: Bai Tu Long Bay has the island’s climate with 2 distinct seasons: hot, humid summer and cold, dry winters. The annual average temperature is from 15°C to 25°C; rainfall is about 2,000 mm / year. Bai Tu Long Bay also has a tide system at about 3.5-4m/day. Salinity ranges from 31 to 34.5 MT in the dry season and lower during the summer.

Bai Tu Long National Park has been selected as one of the representatives of marine conservation in Vietnam. According to the recent survey results from customers of eco-tourism company Gecko Travel (UK), the Bai Tu Long Bay is in the “top five” of the best tourists destinations in Southeast Asia.
Sea and Islands: The islands of Bai Tu Long bay are of such types as limestone and schist, the ancient images of the tectonic age terrain of about 300 million years ago. The corrosion process has been creating water-color paintings of sea and islands. On the islands,there are also caves, especially the Quan cave (Navy cave) for ships hiding when the sea moves. In addition, the Bai Tu Long Island also has soil islands for residents living on livestock and horticulture such as Quan Lan, Minh Chau, Ngoc Vung, Dong Chen.. Especially the Monkey Island which is located not far from Cam Pha Town, has many gold monkey, breeding for making pharmaceuticals vaccine against cerebral palsy.
Historic: Bai Tu Long History is also associated with the history of Vietnamese people with such famous places as Van Don, the busy seaport of Ly dynasty almost 900 years ago, a ship wharf area with bustling traders from Thailand and China, further from India, Japan and the Middle East. Bai Tu Long Bay is also home to commemorate the epic battle of the General Tran Khanh Du against Mongolian Invaders in 1288. In addition, the Bai Tu Long bay has famous temples such as the Temple of Tran Quoc Tang, yearly festival celebrated on full moon january (lunar month); The National Guard Station of the Mac dynasty; 100 cells Pagoda in Thang Loi ward (Van Don-Quang Ninh) – one of the largest buildings on the Northeast strip.
Biodiversity: Bai Tu Long Bay is the focus of biodiversity with typical ecosystems such as mangrove ecosystems, coral reef ecosystems, ecology of tropical forests. Survey results show that the diversity of marine animals reveals in 391 species. Most marine animals here are with high economic value and great scientific meaning. Specifically, there are 51 species of plankton, 132 benthic species, 19 species of fish, 79 coral species (including 17 species listed in Vietnam Red Book).
With the special values in terms of landscape, geomorphological, biological diversity, along with the cultural deposits, Bai Tu Long bay is one of the cradles of the ancient Vietnamese that should be under much concern and deserve protection.

Day 1: Hanoi/ Noi Bai airport - Ha Long Bay (L - D)
8 - 8.30 am: Pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi depart for Ha Long city, about 3 hours drive away. Short rest on half way to Halong in a Humanity center. Upon arrival, transfer to a private boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. An afternoon cruise on a boat in the crystalline emerald green water of Ha Long Bay), among thousands of spectacular limestone islets and discover Surprising Cave. Boat cruise to TiTop beach for swimming, relaxing, or climb up to top of Island and take overview of Ha Long Bay with many beautiful photos then kayaking around. Back to Boat take you to the area where you spend the first night on deluxe private boat.
Day 2: Explore Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D)
This day you have a full day kayaking, in the World Heritage listed - Ha Long bay. We will paddle to Luon cave, the famous cave in Ha Long bay. This area is the place to shoot the French film INDOCHINE in 1991. Then we will set off to explore some of the magnificent caves and lagoons in the area. Have a lunch on boat. An afternoon, we will kayak to Va Gia Village - the floating village to discover the daily life of this village. Overnight on deluxe private boat at Ha Long Bay.
Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi/ Noi Bai airport (B, L)
In the morning kayaking around the stunning Ha Long bay, enjoying Sunrise before returning to the junk. Cruising to Ha Long harbor for lunch. In the afternoon come back Hanoi with crossing Dong Trieu Ceramic Village (optional). Arrive in Hanoi by 16.30 pm, Fare well. Trip ends.
