OVERVIEW
Bai Tu Long Bay is in the northeast of Vietnam. It covers a sea area of Halong City, Cam Pha Town and Van Don island district. It is adjacent to Halong bay in the southwest, to Campha district in the west, to Coto district in the northeast, toward the Eastsea. Bai Tu Long Bay includes hundreds of islands, many of them are large and inhabited.
Climate: Bai Tu Long Bay has the island’s climate with 2 distinct seasons: hot, humid summer and cold, dry winters. The annual average temperature is from 15°C to 25°C; rainfall is about 2,000 mm / year. Bai Tu Long Bay also has a tide system at about 3.5-4m/day. Salinity ranges from 31 to 34.5 MT in the dry season and lower during the summer.

Bai Tu Long National Park has been selected as one of the representatives of marine conservation in Vietnam. According to the recent survey results from customers of eco-tourism company Gecko Travel (UK), the Bai Tu Long Bay is in the “top five” of the best tourists destinations in Southeast Asia.
Sea and Islands: The islands of Bai Tu Long bay are of such types as limestone and schist, the ancient images of the tectonic age terrain of about 300 million years ago. The corrosion process has been creating water-color paintings of sea and islands. On the islands,there are also caves, especially the Quan cave (Navy cave) for ships hiding when the sea moves. In addition, the Bai Tu Long Island also has soil islands for residents living on livestock and horticulture such as Quan Lan, Minh Chau, Ngoc Vung, Dong Chen.. Bai Tu Long Bay is also home to commemorate the epic battle of the General Tran Khanh Du against Mongolian Invaders in 1288. Biodiversity: Bai Tu Long Bay is the focus of biodiversity with typical ecosystems such as mangrove ecosystems, coral reef ecosystems, ecology of tropical forests. Survey results show that the diversity of marine animals reveals in 391 species. Most marine animals here are with high economic value and great scientific meaning. Specifically, there are 51 species of plankton, 132 benthic species, 19 species of fish, 79 coral species (including 17 species listed in Vietnam Red Book).

15.00: Cruise to Cap La.

19.00: Have dinner and stay overnight on board.
Day 2: Cap La -Cong Dam – Vung Ha
06.30: Enjoy the bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the open air.
08.30: Cruise to Cong Dam while appreciating the rock formations of Halong Bay.
09:00: Kayak through hidden lagoons and Cong Damgeological park.
11.30: Sunbathe, relax or swim at Tra Gioi Beach.
12.30: BBQ lunch followed by relaxation on this deserted beach.
14:30: Visit Cong Dam Fishing Village by a rustic rowing boat, meat the local peopleand pass through the lagoons.
16.00: Cruise back to Vung Ha for swimming or kayaking.
19.00: Have dinner and stay overnight on board.
Day 3 : Vung Ha – Ba Cua – Vung Vieng – Cong Do
07:30: Enjoy the morning on the bay while having breakfast.
08:30: Fish with the local people and learn about local fishing techniques.
09:30: Cruise to Ba Cua Beach for relaxation and swimming. Discover Bo Hung (Dor-beetle) Island by kayak.
11:30: Have lunch on board.
14:00: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by rowing boat.
15:00: Cruise back to Cong Do for swimming and kayaking.
19:00: Enjoy a deluxe dinner in Thien Canh Son Cave, stay overnight on board.
Day 4 Cong Do – Hon Gai Harbour
07.30: Enjoy the fresh air and gentle breezes of the bay in the morning while having breakfast on board.
08.30: Free time for kayaking, swimming or relaxation.
10.00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served.
11.45 – 12.00: Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province.
14.00 – 14.30: Enjoy water puppet show performed by local artist.
